Terms of Service

Last updated: June 10, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Antero Trail. They apply when you create an account or use the service at web.anterotrail.com. If you don't agree with them, don't use the service.

The short version
  • You buy conversion packs. Credits never expire.
  • You own your documents and your ESX files. We process them only to provide the service.
  • Conversions are AI-assisted. Verify the output on the review screen before you use it professionally.
  • We're in early release: expect occasional rough edges, and tell us when you hit one.

1. The service

Antero Trail converts PDF estimates into ESX files for use with Xactimate. You upload a PDF, review the converted line items, and download the result. Features may change as the product develops.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the service. Keep your sign-in credentials secure: activity under your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 18 and using the service for business purposes. Give us accurate account information and keep it current.

3. Packs, payment, and refunds

Conversions are sold in packs of credits. Prices are shown at checkout and processed by Stripe. Credits never expire and stay on your account until you use them. Introductory pricing can end or change, but credits you've already bought are unaffected.

If a conversion fails or produces an unusable file because of a fault in our service, contact us and we'll re-run the conversion or return the credit. Beyond that, purchases are final except where the law says otherwise.

4. Your documents and output

You own the documents you upload and the ESX files we produce from them. You give us permission to process your documents for the purpose of providing the service, that's the only license we take. Only upload documents you have the right to use. We don't use your data to train AI models without your explicit opt-in; see the Privacy Policy for how that works.

5. Verify before you rely on it

Conversions are AI-assisted and can contain errors. The review screen exists so you can check folders, codes, quantities, and prices before you download. You are responsible for any estimate you submit to a carrier, client, court, or anyone else. Antero Trail is a conversion tool, not a substitute for your professional judgment.

6. Acceptable use

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. Early release

The service is in an initial testing period. You may run into bugs or errors, and features may change, pause, or be removed while we build. The service is provided "as is" and "as available."

8. Disclaimers and limits on liability

To the extent the law allows: we make no warranties beyond what's written here, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages (such as lost profits or lost claim value), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms removes rights the law doesn't let us limit.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.

10. Trademarks

Antero Trail is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Verisk Analytics, Inc. or Xactimate. Xactimate, ESX, and related marks are trademarks of Verisk Analytics, Inc. All product names, logos, and brands are the property of their respective owners.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with an updated date and flag meaningful changes in the app or by email. Using the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms: feedback@anterotrail.com or the contact form.
