Affiliate Program Terms

1. Who we are and what this covers

These terms cover the Antero Trail affiliate program ("the Program") run by Antero Trail LLC ("Antero Trail", "we"). The Program pays you ("Affiliate", "you") a commission when people you refer pay for AI Estimate Assistant ("AIEA").

2. Joining

You join when we approve your application and give you an affiliate code. We can decline any application. You must give us a working payout email and payout method and keep them current.

3. Your code and links

Your code is 6 to 12 letters or digits. Your links are https://anterotrail.com/?ref=YOURCODE and https://web.anterotrail.com/signup?ref=YOURCODE. A person can also type your code in the "Referral code" field when they sign up.

4. When a referral counts

  1. A person counts as your referral when they create a new AIEA account through your link, or with your code in the signup form, while your affiliate account is active.
  2. The browser keeps your code for 90 days after the person clicks your link. If they sign up later than that, or in a different browser without entering your code, the signup is not referred.
  3. The referral is fixed at signup and never changes. A person who already had an AIEA account before clicking your link is not a referral. If a person clicks more than one affiliate's link, the last code stored before signup is the one that counts.
  4. No self-referral. Your own AIEA account, and accounts you control or create for yourself, are never your referrals.

5. Commission

  1. You earn 20% of every payment a referred user makes for 12 months from the date they signed up. That includes conversion packs, the paid trial fee, and Pro and Pro Plus subscriptions, monthly or yearly.
  2. Commission is calculated on the amount the customer actually paid, in US cents, rounded half up to the cent.
  3. Payments made after the 12-month window ends earn nothing, even if the customer keeps paying.
  4. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the commission on it is reversed. A reversal can reduce a later payout, including when the original commission was already paid to you.

6. Payouts

  1. We pay monthly, for commissions that are past the refund window of 30 days from the payment.
  2. We pay only when the amount owed to you is $25.00 or more. A smaller balance carries over to the next month.
  3. We pay to the payout method and email on file. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn. We may ask for tax forms (for example a W-9 or W-8) before paying.
  4. We record each payout with a reference (for example a PayPal transaction id) and you can see what you have earned, been paid, and are owed on your AIEA account page.

7. How you may promote AIEA

  1. Be honest. Do not claim features, results, prices, or endorsements we have not published.
  2. Say that you earn a commission when you recommend AIEA, as the FTC Endorsement Guides require.
  3. No paid search on our brand. Do not bid on "Antero Trail", "AIEA", "AI Estimate Assistant", or any misspelling or variation of them, in Google Ads, Bing Ads, or any other paid search or paid social placement, and do not use those names in ad copy or display URLs.
  4. No spam: no unsolicited bulk email, texts, or messages, and nothing that breaks CAN-SPAM or similar laws.
  5. Do not register domains, social handles, or app names that contain our names.
  6. Do not pretend to be Antero Trail or offer discounts or deals we have not authorized.

8. Pausing, ending, and changes

  1. We can pause your code at any time. While paused, new signups with your code are not referred to you. Payments from people you referred before the pause keep earning for the rest of their 12 months.
  2. We can end the Program, or your participation, with 30 days' written notice. Commissions earned before the end date are paid on the normal schedule once they pass the refund window and reach the minimum.
  3. If you break section 4.4 or section 7, we can end your participation right away and withhold commissions earned through the breach.
  4. We can change these terms with 30 days' notice. Continuing in the Program after that date means you accept the change.

9. Other terms

  1. You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of Antero Trail.
  2. Our records of signups, payments, refunds, and commissions decide what is owed. If you think a referral or payment is missing, tell us within 60 days.
