Antero Trail converts PDF estimates into Xactimate-ready ESX files. This policy covers what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it. It applies to this site (anterotrail.com) and the app at web.anterotrail.com.
We use your data to run the service: converting your PDFs, managing your account and conversion credits, processing payments, answering support requests, and fixing bugs. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't rent or sell it.
Conversion uses third-party AI models, but those models never see personal information. Before any document content reaches an AI model, we detect personal identifiers (names, addresses, claim numbers, policy numbers, and similar details) and replace them with anonymous tokens. The model works on placeholder values. The real values are restored only inside our own systems when your ESX file is assembled.
Estimate data is stored in our databases, keyed to your account ID. Access is limited to administrators who need it to operate the service and help with support requests. Data is encrypted in transit.
We do not use your estimates to train AI models unless you explicitly opt in. If you do opt in, personal information is stripped from the data and replaced with generic placeholder values before any training use. You can withdraw your opt-in at any time, which stops future use of your data.
Only the service providers we need to operate: Stripe for payments, Google Firebase for authentication, our hosting providers, and AI providers under the tokenization process described above. Each receives only what it needs to do its job for us. Beyond that, we disclose data only if the law requires it.
We keep your data while your account is active and as long as we need it to provide the service or meet legal and tax obligations. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data except for the payment records the law requires us to keep.

Antero Trail is a professional tool. It isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from minors.
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with an updated date. For changes that meaningfully affect how we handle your data, we'll notify you in the app or by email.
